I was born in the fall of 1978, in Cleveland, Ohio. I grew up in North Central
Wayne County and graduated from Norwayne High School in the summer of 1997. I
spent my junior and senior year of high school at the Wayne County Schools
Career Center studying Printing Technologies (Graphic Designs). Photography was
a hobby of mine from early childhood when my father gave me my first camera. It
was a 110 square format film camera, and while that was many subjects and many
cameras ago, my passion for photography has consistently grown. Photography
became my profession shortly after completing an Introduction to Photography
course at the Wayne General College in the fall of 1998. I opened my first
studio on the square in downtown Wooster in The Downing Block Building in 1999,
my business moved a couple of times, over the years, but returned to the Downing
Block Building in May of 2008. (This time in Suite 203) I love creating
portraits that capture people as they see themselves. Photography can be very
challenging and very gratifying and when you do what you love, it's always a
good thing. It was the technical and creative aspects of photography that first
drew me into this career, but looking back, it's the people I've got to work
with and the relationships I've made along the way that I most appreciate about
this business. I have been very lucky and I look forward to what the future will
bring!
